Status
Confirmed. NFL.com reported Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, that the Eagles and the Ravens announced the trade. Team sites were not opened. No odds.
The Philadelphia Eagles traded Cam Jurgens, a two-time Pro Bowl lineman, to the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday, one day after right tackle Lane Johnson retired. Baltimore gets Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick. Philadelphia gets a 2028 second-round pick and a 2027 fifth. The Ravens have lost three centers to injured reserve. Jurgens, who had been playing out of position at guard, is in the league's concussion protocol.
Jurgens, 27, was a 2022 second-round pick, chosen to replace Jason Kelce. He made the Pro Bowl in 2024 and 2025 and signed a four-year, $68 million extension in 2025. This season the Eagles moved him to guard after Landon Dickerson got hurt, and he struggled, NFL.com says.
The Ravens' centers Danny Pinter, Jovaughn Gwyn, and Ethan Pocic are all on injured reserve. Coach Jesse Minter said Jurgens, who reported concussion symptoms to the Eagles on Monday, will hopefully be ready for Week 6 against the Browns. The Eagles are 2–2 and play Jacksonville in London on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Eastern. The Ravens are 3–1 and play at Atlanta on Sunday night.
NFL.com's trade tracker says the 2026 trade deadline is Nov. 10. Wednesday's edition has Lane Johnson's retirement.
What is still unknown or disputed
- Who starts at center for Baltimore on Sunday.
