Status
Confirmed from UFC's results article and event page for UFC 333 on Oct. 24, 2026, at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. No betting line is included.
- ConfirmedAlexander Volkanovski kept the featherweight title, stopping Movsar Evloev at 4:54 of round 2.
- ConfirmedPetr Yan kept the bantamweight title, beating Merab Dvalishvili by unanimous decision, 48-47 on all three cards.
Alexander Volkanovski kept the featherweight title on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, stopping Movsar Evloev at 4:54 of the second round. Petr Yan kept the bantamweight title the same night, beating Merab Dvalishvili by unanimous decision after five rounds.1
UFC's results article says Volkanovski handed Evloev, who had been undefeated, a first loss. The same article says the win moved Volkanovski ahead of Jose Aldo for the most title-fight wins in featherweight history. That comparison is UFC's. The judges scored Yan's fight 48-47, 48-47, 48-47. UFC labeled the Yan bout Fight of the Night and labeled Volkanovski's bout and Lone'er Kavanagh's bout Performance of the Night. The event page does not print a bonus amount, and this story does not add one.1
On the rest of the main card, Lone'er Kavanagh stopped Ramazan Temirov at 4:28 of round 1. Alexander Volkov beat Rizvan Kuniev by unanimous decision. Aaron Pico stopped Losene Keita at 1:14 of round 1. The prelim winners and the one split decision are in the notes. The card was at Etihad Arena. UFC says the U.S. broadcast was on Paramount+.2
Why it matters (Estimate). Two champions who were supposed to be in hard fights left Abu Dhabi still champions. Volkanovski's stoppage ended an undefeated run by the challenger. Yan's decision was a 25-minute fight the judges all scored the same way, one round apart. The rest of the card is a list of finishes and decisions. This desk is not ranking them.
Friday's story on this site recorded the weigh-ins and said the fights had not started. They have now, and that story carries a note pointing here.
