xAI puts Grok Voice 3.0 on sale at the same price

xAI said Wednesday that Grok Voice 3.0 is available in its Voice Agent API at $0.08 a minute, or $4.80 an hour, the same price it lists for Grok Voice 2.0. The company said agents already pointed at grok-voice-latest have switched. Scores it prints from Artificial Analysis, including a speech-to-speech index of 86.9, are the company’s account of that page. This desk did not re-run them.
The post is dated Oct. 14, 2026. It describes a speech-to-speech model, meaning audio in and audio out, sold through the Voice Agent API.
xAI says the Artificial Analysis Speech-to-Speech Index is 86.9 for Grok Voice 3.0, against 81.3 for Grok Voice 2.0, 83.2 for GPT-Live-1 (Astra, Medium), and 82.6 for Gemini 3.8 Live (Ext. Thinking, High). The page’s source line reads “Artificial Analysis, October 13, 2026.” Those comparisons are xAI’s.
On a full-duplex test, xAI prints 97.0 percent in a table and “97%” in the prose. On a test it labels τ-Voice, it prints 71.6 percent and says that is comparable with GPT-Live-1 (Astra) at 40 percent lower latency. That latency comparison is xAI’s.
The post also says Starlink handles 20,000 customer calls every day, that roughly 70 percent are resolved with no human, and that one in four sales calls is handled this way. Those are the company’s figures about its own customer.
