U.S. and China create a Super Intelligence dialogue and incident channel

On Sept. 25, 2026, a White House fact sheet on the China state visit said the two leaders agreed to use the term “super intelligence” rather than “artificial intelligence” for applicable emerging technologies, established a U.S.–China Super Intelligence dialogue on risks and benefits with the next exchange by November 2026, and agreed to a bilateral communication channel for Super Intelligence incidents. This is a government diplomacy item, not a lab model launch.
