UFC.com, in a Sept. 1, 2026, update to UFC Fight Night: Hooker vs. Parnasse (Sept. 5, Accor Arena, Paris), said Mairon Santos was removed from his featherweight bout against Nathaniel Wood because of illness and that undefeated UFC newcomer Pavel Andrusca is the replacement.
UFC.com wrote: “Due to illness, Mairon Santos has been removed from his featherweight bout against Nathaniel Wood. Replacing Santos will be undefeated UFC newcomer Pavel Andrusca…” UFC.com said Andrusca makes his debut having finished seven of his eight wins, including five in the first round.
The same page says UFC Fight Night: Hooker vs. Parnasse takes place Saturday, Sept. 5, at Accor Arena in Paris, with prelims at 12 p.m. ET and the main card at 3 p.m. ET, streaming on Paramount+.
