On Sept. 29, 2026, the Treasury Department posted Operation Economic Outcast.

The Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctioned 10 individuals and entities it says procured weapons and weapons components for Iran’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics.

The release places the activity in China, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye.

Names in the Treasury release include Beijing representative Seyyed Asghar Alizadeh Tabatabai; Kavoshcom Asia; EC Mojo, Li Fen, and Parisa Lali; and Cavalier Group and Waseem Pasha Tajammal entities.
