The Cowboys announced Thursday morning that they acquired Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. Pittsburgh receives a 2027 sixth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick. Thursday’s edition could not confirm the picks from the Cowboys’ own post. NFL.com’s story now states them. No odds. No picks of a winner.
The Cowboys announced the trade Thursday morning.
The player is cornerback Joey Porter Jr.
He had been with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers receive a sixth-round pick in 2027.
They also receive a second-round pick in 2028.
Thursday’s edition reported only that the Cowboys’ site said terms were agreed, and that the picks were not in that post.
