  • Confirmed

Ukrainian official figures: Zelensky’s 1,500 / 800 statement as published by Ukrinform; the Air Force overnight tally (one Kh-59 and 121 drones, 96 intercepted); a fifth consecutive day of Kyiv alerts; regional governors’ reports of seven killed.

  • Unverified

Russian launch totals have not been confirmed by Russia in the sources fetched. Air Force original social posts were not fetched.

Zelensky said Russia launched nearly 1,500 drones in four days, about 800 of them jet-powered. Overnight, Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched one Kh-59 cruise missile and 121 long-range drones; 96 drones were intercepted. Kyiv recorded a fifth consecutive day of alerts. Regional governors reported seven killed across several oblasts. Russia has not confirmed the 1,500 / 800 figures in sources fetched.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia had launched nearly 1,500 drones of all types at Ukraine in four days, about 800 of them jet-powered, Ukrinform reported, quoting a Facebook message from the president. “There have been nearly 1,500 drones of all types in just these four days, of which about 800 were jet-powered,” Zelensky said. He said shooting down the jet-powered drones was the hardest task and that combat aircraft were primarily responsible for defending against them.

Those 1,500 / 800 figures are Ukrainian official statements. Russia has not confirmed them in the sources fetched. The File did not fetch the original Air Force social posts.

Overnight, Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched one Kh-59 cruise missile and 121 long-range attack drones, of which air defenses intercepted 96, the Kyiv Independent reported. The missile did not reach its target, the Air Force said; several drones struck 11 locations, with falling debris at eight other sites.

Kyiv was in a fifth consecutive day of near-constant air-raid alerts. Regional governors reported seven people killed across several oblasts over the past day, the Kyiv Independent said, citing local authorities in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and other regions; the same account put the injured at 45. That fatality count is a compilation of governor reports, not a single national toll.

“Today, our military gave briefings on air defense. Right now, the Russians’ tactic is to wear down Ukraine, to wear down Ukrainians—first and foremost, our own people. There are constant drone attacks—many ‘Shahed’ jet-powered drones. Our soldiers are shooting down a significant portion of them.
