Status
Confirmed from OpenAI’s public status incident page. Lab newsrooms checked Sept. 15 showed no new frontier model launch overnight.
OpenAI’s public status page says customers using the Agents API had delays or could not start turns in managed sessions starting at 1:30 p.m. Pacific time on Sept. 14. The company posted that it applied mitigations, then marked the incident resolved at 11:39 p.m. Pacific the same day, saying managed sessions were processing turns normally again. This is an operations note, not a new model launch. A separate OpenAI customer story dated Sept. 14 on Perplexity using GPT-6 Astra remains live; it already ran in Monday’s edition. Anthropic’s newsroom still led with its Sept. 10 threat report and the Sept. 1 Claude Fable 5.1 / Mythos 5.1 announcement. xAI’s news page showed nothing newer than early September. Meta’s AI blog still led with July Muse posts. No new frontier model ID printed overnight.
