Confirmed as company figures in Netflix's shareholder letter filed with the SEC on Oct. 20, 2026. The share price is not reported.
Netflix said Tuesday that third-quarter revenue grew 12 percent from a year earlier, to $12.9 billion, in line with its own forecast. The operating margin was 34.6 percent, up from 28.2 percent in the same quarter of 2025. The figures are the company's, in a letter filed with the SEC.1
The letter says net income for the quarter was $3,664 million. For all of 2026, Netflix expects revenue of $51.1 billion, which it says is 13 percent higher than a year earlier, and an operating margin of 31.5 percent. The fourth-quarter revenue forecast in the letter's table is $13,442 million. This story does not print a share-price move.1
Why it matters (Estimate). Estimate. Netflix is a subscription most households can name, so its quarter is a read on whether people are still paying for streaming. What the stock did after the filing is not in this story.1 The letter says revenue matched the company's own forecast.
The letter is Netflix's account of the quarter. It says the margin was ahead of the company's forecast mostly because of the timing of expenses.
