Crew-13 docks with the space station

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-13 lifted off at 11:10 a.m. Eastern on Oct. 1 from Space Launch Complex 40. The Dragon docked at the forward port of the station’s Harmony module at 7:05 p.m. Eastern, 7 hours and 55 minutes after launch, the fastest U.S. launch-to-dock with the International Space Station. The hatch opened at 9:19 p.m. Jessica Watkins, Luke Delaney, Joshua Kutryk, and Sergey Teteryatnikov joined Expedition 75.

Crew-13 launched at 11:10 a.m. Eastern on Thursday, Oct. 1.

The pad was Space Launch Complex 40.

The Dragon docked at 7:05 p.m. Eastern.

The port was the forward end of the station’s Harmony module.

Launch to docking took 7 hours and 55 minutes.

NASA calls that the fastest U.S. launch-to-dock with the International Space Station.

The crew opened the hatch at 9:19 p.m. Eastern.

The four fliers are Jessica Watkins, Luke Delaney, Joshua Kutryk, and Sergey Teteryatnikov.

They joined Expedition 75.
