Albania becomes 73rd Artemis Accords signatory

Albania signed

on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, at NASA Headquarters in Washington, becoming the 73rd country to join. Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha signed for Albania. NASA Deputy Administrator Matt Anderson and U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Space and Environment Connor Tomlinson took part. Anderson said the partnership now extends into space. are a set of practical principles for peaceful, transparent, and cooperative civil exploration of the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
