Confirmed. A federal jury convicted Justin Gray of two counts of murder in aid of racketeering, the Justice Department said. Sentencing is Nov. 23 before Judge Jennifer L. Thurston.

On Aug. 26, 2026, a federal jury convicted Justin Gray, 40, of San Pedro, California, of two counts of murder in aid of racketeering, the Justice Department said. Court documents and trial evidence, the department said, showed that on Oct. 4, 2020, Gray lured two men from San Diego to Lomita and, with another associate, shot both in the head on orders from Aryan Brotherhood member Francis Clement, then imprisoned at Kern Valley State Prison, over perceived “disrespect.” Gray is a member of Baby Blue Wrecking Crew, which the department said takes orders from the Aryan Brotherhood. Clement was previously convicted of RICO conspiracy and five counts of murder in aid of racketeering; Kenneth Johnson was convicted of RICO conspiracy and two VICAR murder counts. Gray is set for sentencing Nov. 23 before U.S. District Judge Jennifer L. Thurston in the Eastern District of California and faces a mandatory life sentence, the department said.

A federal jury convicted Justin Gray, 40, of San Pedro, California, of two counts of murder in aid of racketeering, the Justice Department said on Wednesday, Aug. 26, in press release 26-973.

According to court documents and evidence presented at trial, the department said, on Oct. 4, 2020, Gray “lured the victims from San Diego to Lomita where, with the aid of another Aryan Brotherhood associate, he shot both victims in the head.” The order came from Francis Clement, an Aryan Brotherhood member then imprisoned at Kern Valley State Prison, over “disrespect” one of the victims had shown to the Aryan Brotherhood, the department said. Gray is a member of Baby Blue Wrecking Crew, “a white-only gang that takes orders from and works under the Aryan Brotherhood,” the department said.

Clement was previously convicted of RICO conspiracy and five counts of murder in aid of racketeering; Kenneth Johnson was convicted of RICO conspiracy and two counts of murder in aid of racketeering for the same two victims, the department said. Gray is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 23 by U.S. District Judge Jennifer L. Thurston in the Eastern District of California and “faces a mandatory life sentence.”
