The European Space Agency release is the science desk's read. This pass did not re-fetch the page.
The European Space Agency's council held its 350th meeting in Paris on Oct. 21 and Oct. 22. Ministers are due back in Rome on Dec. 15 for a meeting the agency calls IMM26.
Why it matters (Estimate). Dec. 15 is the session where member countries are supposed to put numbers on the next programs. This week's meeting set that date. It did not print those budgets. (Estimate.)
The desk's read of the release names Andrzej Banasiak as the next Director of Commercialisation and Industry Partnership, and Nicolaus Hanowski as the next Director of Space Operations. Their duties start on Jan. 1, 2027.
